SNAPIQS

The Southern Nevada Asian Pacific Islander Queer Society (SNAPIQS) serves all Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions (SOGI/E or LGBT*) in the Southern Nevada region. Mental Health and Substance Abuse

Due to social stigma, discrimination and other challenges that individuals in the LGBTQ community face, there is an increased risk of mental health and substance abuse challenges. Addiction is a 365 day a year disease that affects many LGBTQ individuals. This is why we have created free resources that specifically aim to bring awareness of these issues and offer help:

American Addiction Centers also hosts free virtual support and online addiction meetings that many LGBTQ individuals use to help support their recovery
