CELEBRATING 2018 ASIAN & PACIFIC ISLANDERS (API) UNIVERSITY GRADUATES

co-sponsored by Asian Community Development Council, Caesars Entertainment, & UNLV ROAR

A major celebration for one of the largest growing communities in Las Vegas, the Asian and Pacific Islander Americans (APIAs), was held on Saturday, April 27th, 2018 from 10am-1pm at the Stan Fulton Building on UNLV campus . The focus of the event is to recognize over 120 APIAs student who will graduate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Each graduate received a commemorative gift that can be worn to the university-wide commencement event the following month.  

A highlight of the three-hour event was the career fair where attendees can speak to recruiters from companies and organizations including  Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts International, COX Communications, Panda Express, and Tesla. Families and friends of the graduates can also learn about civic engagement opportunities with non-profit organizations in Southern Nevada.   [/pt_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
