Self-Starters

“Self-Starters” is the first series on “NBC Asian America Presents…,” a new video channel that will feature documentaries centered around themes and voices found in Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.

“Self-Starters” is a new five-episode series from NBC Asian America that explores the stories of entrepreneurs whose unique stories include one common thread: the pursuit of the American dream. New episodes of “Self-Starters” are available on Tuesdays and can be watched on NBCAsianAmerica.comNBC Asian America’s Facebook pageNBC News’ official YouTube channel, and the NBC News app available on mobile devices, Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire.

Jubilee Project: Voices

NBC Asian America has premiered the first of its two mini-series this month today: “Jubilee Project: Voices,” created by Jubilee Project, gathered Asian Americans together for a five-episode series and asked them one question each video. The topics are varied, as are the responses, and we hope it’ll spark conversation and encourage others to share their stories too!

There is a pressing need to establish a coalition that takes the initiative to address issues that are affecting Southern Nevada’s growing AAPI community. The Asian Community Development Council will align the needs of the AAPI community with the philanthropic and community engagement goals of corporations.

Building a better Nevada community for AAPI.
