ACDC, AAPI CHAMBER AND UNITED WAY OF SOUTHERN NEVADA TO HOST FREE COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR ON JUNE 27

Families Can Access Free School Supplies, Health Screenings, Vaccinations, Language Access Resources and Rice Distribution

LAS VEGAS — June 15, 2026 — The Asian Community Development Council (ACDC), in partnership with the Asian American and Pacific Islander Chamber of Commerce (AAPI Chamber) and United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN), will host a free Community Resource Fair on Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at ACDC’s office located at 3235 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 101.

The event is designed to connect families with essential community resources while helping them prepare for the upcoming school year. Attendees will have access to health and vision screenings, free school supplies, vaccinations, family-friendly activities, and information about programs available through local nonprofit and community organizations.

“As the cost of living continues to rise, many families are facing greater challenges than ever before,” said Vida Lin, Founder and President of ACDC. “Summer can be especially difficult for families trying to make ends meet while preparing for the upcoming school year. This event is about making sure families know they are not alone and that resources are available to help. Through our multilingual team and community partners, we are committed to connecting families to services that support their health, education, and overall well-being.”

Free school supplies for students while supplies last

Family giveaways and community resources

Face painting and children’s activities

Basic health screenings

Complimentary vision screenings

Vaccination clinic provided by Albertsons Pharmacy

Information about United Way of Southern Nevada’s Early Childhood and Language Access programs

Community resource booths and family support services

Free Rice Distribution

ACDC will distribute a 25-pound sack of rice to the first 100 households that check in at the event. To receive rice, attendees must present:

A valid EBT card

A valid photo ID (Driver’s License or Nevada State ID)

Free School Supplies

Students and families can receive free school supplies while supplies last, including:

Crosby Lunch Cooler Tote

Cliff Gel Pen & Mechanical Pencil Set

Colored Pencils

Pencil Sharpener

To receive school supplies, attendees must collect six vendor signatures on their event passport.

Vaccine Clinic

Albertsons Pharmacy will provide:

COVID-19 vaccines

Adult vaccines

Back-to-school immunizations

Attendees must present a valid health insurance card to receive vaccinations. Vaccines will not be available for individuals without health insurance coverage.

Volunteer support will be provided by members of AAPINA-RUSNA, who will conduct basic health screenings, and APAMSA, who will assist with event operations and attendee support.
