The Asian Community Development Council partners with Sri Lanka America Association for COVID-19 Vaccination Day
Las Vegas (June 10, 2021) – The Asian Community Development Council (ACDC) is proud to partner with the Sri Lanka America Association of Las Vegas to host a “COVID-19 Vaccination Day” event this coming Sunday, June 13th from 12:00 PM – 3:30PM on the 2nd floor of Shanghai Plaza at 4276 Spring Mountain Road Suite 207 Las Vegas NV 89102.
There will also be a media event on Thursday, June 10th at 5:30PM at Civic Center Pediatrics at 2025 Civic Center Drive, North Las Vegas 89030 to promote vaccine efforts and discuss the effects of the American Rescue Plan Act. The event will begin at 5:30PM and interview opportunities are available with the owner/medical director of the clinic, Dr. Ruchka Ranasighe. Nevada Congressman Steven Horsford and the newly appointed Consulate General of Sri Lanka, Dr. Lalith Chandradasa are also set to attend the event.
“One of ACDC’s key services is our COVID-19 pop-up vaccination clinic in the heart of the Las Vegas Spring Mountain corridor,” said Edelweiss Solano, ACDC’s Family Services Director. “Vaccines are imperative to re-opening our city and by partnering with organizations such as the Sri Lanka America Association of Las Vegas, we can provide vaccines and translation assistance for our Asian American Pacific Islander community members”.
The Asian Community Development Council’s “Pop-Up Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic” is now happening on Sundays only from 9AM – 3PM on the 2nd floor of Shanghai Plaza at 4276 SpringMountain Road Suite 207 Las Vegas NV 89102. Everyone age 12 and up is currently eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination.
