US Citizenship Workshop

The Asian Community Development Council hosting Free Citizenship Workshop coinciding with World Refugee Awareness Month

Las Vegas (June 18, 2021) – The Asian Community Development Council (ACDC) is hosting a free “US Citizenship” Workshop on Saturday June 19th from 9AM to 3PM. It will take place on the 2nd floor of Shanghai Plaza at 4276 Spring Mountain Road Suite 207 Las Vegas NV 89102.

The event coincides with June being World Refugee Awareness Month and World Refugee Day is on Sunday June 20th. According to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, America has resettled more than 3 million refugees since 1980.

At the free citizenship workshop hosted by ACDC this Saturday, registered participants will be able to meet one-on-one to ask questions and get help as part of their N400 application process. There will be a legal attorney and translators on site providing assistance in a variety of languages from Tagalog, Vietnamese, Mandarin and Thai. Permanent resident card
Driver’s license or ID
Passport
Home and work addresses for past 5 years
Travel history out of the US for past 5 years
Marriage certificate/divorce decree (If applicable)
Children’s basic information ( DOB, Addresses, etc
Recent tax return/Proof of means-tested benefit (needed to check eligibility for a fee waiver)
As part of ACDC’s ongoing citizenship assistance program, the nonprofit also accepts appointments with green card holders who need help applying for US citizenship. For more information, call 702-461-8354.
