4th Annual College Readiness Bootcamp

The 4th Annual College Readiness Bootcamp presented by the Asian Community Development Council will be held in the UNLV Student Union Ballrooms. A one day boot camp to prepare Asian and Pacific Islander high school students and parents to prepare for college. Each workshop will have a panel of experts from industry professionals to college students. This year’s topics includes:

  • Standardized Testing
  • How To Pay For College (Applying for student aid, grants, scholarships, & more)
  • College Life Skills (Community Service, Personal Brand, Ethics, & more)
  • Careers in Technology
  • Careers in Culinary
  • Careers in the Limelight
  • Careers in Health Professions
  • College Student Experience Panel
  • Parent Panel

Breakfast and lunch will be included. New this year is the opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with university financial aid counselors throughout the day.


There is free parking in front of the Student Union in all areas including metered except for “Reserved” spots. Free parking is also available around campus if the Student Union parking lot area is full.
