ACDC is proud to partner with AARP’s Foundation Tax Aide Program to provide a valuable service the the community for the upcoming Tax Season. ACDC staff members went through a week long certification program involving hours of learning the new software for tax return preparation and the tax code for some of the younger staff members. The staff completed their training by passing the certification exam and were awarded the AARP Tax Aid Volunteer denim shirt. ACDC’s Center joins one of many locations to provide tax preparation services for the community on Fridays and certain Saturdays starting in February to April. Newspaper ads promoting the ACDC’s Tax Return Preparation program and a new website to schedule appointments will be released before February 2017.
